The location and price are both excellent, and I think this would be a solid place to stay for a couple nights. The area is extremely safe, and I felt very comfortable coming back here as a single woman every night in the dark.
That said, I had three main problems:
1. The bedding was not clean when I got to the unit, as there were hairs and little debris still on the pillowcases/ bedsheet. I had to sleep on top of towels that night as I didn’t want to get into an unhygienic bed. The next day, the cleaning staff dropped off a new top sheet, pillowcases, and towels; however, the duvet cover was not replaced so I had to sleep on top of the new sheet and used a quilt that had already been in the room. This whole episode made me wonder at how well the rest of the unit had actually been cleaned (and in fact, the plates and knife I used later had not been fully cleaned).
2. You absolutely NEED shower shoes to use the shower. The floor isn’t properly angled, so it pools very badly (which, to me, is unhygienic and I didn’t want to stand in it). The standing water takes days to evaporate.
3. The curtains are pretty sheer, so as soon as the sun began to rise the room increasingly filled with light. If you’re light sensitive, you need an eye mask. It also freaked me out a bit wondering how well people outside could see inside at night.
A notable lesser issue: there’s minimal counter space in the bathroom, which made it difficult to put toiletries down.
