Didn’t get what I paid for!!
First, I had to jump through hoops to get my free shuttle to the hotel from the airport. My greeting was pleasant. I did not get the room that I booked and paid for. All they said is that it was unavailable. So they downgraded my king suite to a double bed. The bistro was overpriced and they definitely didn’t know how to cook. Definitely not worth the price I paid!!!

Room Staff were fantastic. They were Johnny on the spot- In minutes issues were taken care of! Front Desk and other Staff by Coffee Bar were awesome. Jacuzzi & Fire Pit after a long day of hiking was a great way to end the day and slip into a quiet evening. Our stay of 15 Family Members & kids in 4 rooms was Fantastic! What I didn't like: I don't think Expedia or Marrott can do anything about it - Its to take care of Native Hawaiians who are battered & homeless living in tents by the roads. I just wish, with all the Billions both Corporations are making, Land could be designated and assigned to Native Hawaiians. It was heartbreaking to see 4 Seasons, Waldorf et al.. not doing enough to take care of Natives. Capitalism is supposed to take care of everyone, or else Anarchy will set in and Hawaii could become Beirut. Right now, we have Native Hawaiians living in the Faith of Non-Violence, but a new generation of Native Hawaiians could grow up to pick up arms against Brute Capitalists!

Very friendly staff. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool outside. The only thing I didn’t give a 5 is quietness. It’s conveniently located next to the airport, which brings some of the noises. You get used to after a few days.
