Exceptional 10.0
Nice, spacious apartment with great location
You will probably only interact with staff once when you call them from the check-in lock box. I had a 3 bedroom / 1 bath apartment for two nights. Everything inside may not be brand new, but as of October 2017 everything looked new enough. It worked out great for me. Parking was annoying as you have to find your own. But you can park in a nearby garage (there are two). Other reviews mentioned noise levels and homeless people in the little courtyard. We stayed there on Monday and Tuesday nights, so it may be different on weekends, but we didn't notice a noise problem or homeless people hanging out. Also, we didn't have any problems with the windows upstairs. But I can imagine the upstairs rooms getting a little warm during the summer (we were there in early spring).

Very good 8.0
Nice spacious hotel but not for young kids
We got the 2 bedroom apartment for our 3 nights stay. Right smack in town and can walk to most of the attractions. If you are driving though and have luggage to drag, it is not recommended as you have to park at the public car park down the road at a fee of NZD24 per day. There's no front desk too so you have to call the hotel before coming in. Hotel was spacious but if you have young kids or weak knees, I wouldn't take it as the rooms are up a flight of stairs and we had to keep watching out for the kids so not very kid friendly or I am just overly cautious! To go to the rooms, you need to climb stairs as well so hogging luggage up was a tad difficult.

Good 6.0
Poor heating and very noisy
There were a lot of positives about this property but unfortunately the few negatives were substantial enough for me to not return here. On the positive, it was clean, spacious and well laid out. The location was central and easy to get to. However on the negative: there is no form of heating apart from 2 oil-filled radiators which take about an hour to warm up. The lounge /kitchen/ hallway area is too big for the heater to have any effect. There wasn't even an electric blanket on the bed to be able to warm up that way. I was so cold I had to keep my coat on in the lounge and then went to bed with a fleece jacket on too. I was uncomfortably cold. Being in the centre of town also means lots of noise. Throughout the night, the collection trucks came and tipped all the glass recycling out. This happened about 4 or 5 times in the night and was so loud it woke me each time. I had very broken sleep. The windows and doors are all single glazed, adding to the cold and the noise. For the price I paid I could have had a warm and quiet room elsewhere.

Exceptional 10.0
Excellent accommodation in a great location.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit at the Willis Village and were more than happy with the experience. The rooms were all very spacious, clean and well laid out. I would say we all felt instantly at home in the accommodation. The check in process was very easy, via a lockbox which contained the keycards and instructions in an envelope. Staff at the helpline were very helpful when I called to see if we could checkout slightly later than 10am, and gave us until 11:30am to checkout which worked out better for our flights. The location is excellent, with a bus stop practically outside and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Te Papa, Parliament and the waterfront are all within an easy walk from the Willis Village. Highly recommend to others.

Lovely apartments right in the city
Really clean and nicely laid out apartment within walking distance of almost everything. Contact the managers before you get there re parking and they will tee you up with a reserved spot. If you get an apartment abutting the street, can be noisy, but to be expected for inner city living. Cleaners found our lost jewellery and management contacted us immediately. Honest and reliable. Would recommend Willis Apartments to anyone.
