Fist time in Ucluelet
First time in West Coast Motel and in Ucluelet. In general evrything was good, clean, comfy bed, minimum but enough. There was a fridge there - nice surprise, as it was not listed online for the simpliest room. Check in instruction was a bit confsing, as it said to call 24 h before arival. We called but no unswer and message box is full. Not sure what we would do if arived after 5 pm, after reception hours. Another little thing to mention - we stayed for 3 nights, we were fine without room service, just wished garbage would be removed from the room at list onece over that time. Overall everything was good, room is warm, nice bed, TV. Town is small and walkable all through. Easy to reach everything from West Coast Motel.

This motel captures the essence of Ucluelet; it is safe, cozy, and above all else run by people who really care about what they're doing. We didn't spend a lot of time in our motel during our stay, but the time we spent there was comfortable and easy. My only note is that if you have back problems, call ahead and ask them about their mattress options, ours was quite hard and upset an injury I have - that was my oversight though, not theirs. The staff are fantastic people, the suite was clean, and they have fast Optik TV with Netflix casting options.
