Clean, food lovely, room could do with improvement
Food was lovely although not the breakfast choices you would expect from a quality hotel, only cereal and cooked breakfast. Would have been nice to have fruit, yoghurt and pastries. Bed was ok , pillows were lumpy and space to put things in bathroom was restricted too above toilet which I’m not keen on at all for tooth brush etc. Our room was VERY hot, floor was hot all night. We were over the kitchen so I guess that explains it but not ideal even with window open to max amount which being on 1st floor wasn’t far. Staff were lovely and polite.

Good location, great breakfast, sleep not so good
A very well run hotel/pub, ideally located for the Bure Valley railway, A Fantastic breakfast was served every morning by welcoming staff, The quality of the food in the restaurant was excellent however choices were somewhat limited during our stay so we only used the restaurant in the evenings once. Also a bit of a shame that as the hotel was serving excellent quality restaurant meals with lovely service that our server was dressed in a rather untidy T shirt & jeans, A Smarter dress code would have added that restaurant feel rather than just being a pub Only other downside to the hotel for us was that we were given a lovely room at the front of the hotel however as the hotel is right on the very busy main road the traffic noise from Lorry’s thundering past outside all night kept us awake. The hotel did change or room for the second night of a stay to a room at the back of the hotel but the room was very very small and unfortunately we were still woken up at 5am as the hotels neighbour keeps cockerels.

A good hotel with wonderful staff
The hotel is very clean and tidy. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the staff were happy to accommodate my dietary requirements. The room itself was very pleasant, clean and tidy. The TV is a bit small but a good range of channels. My stay was one night but I was very pleased with the service and accommodation.

Bed no but brekkie yeah :)
Average pub style hotel, unfortunately bed not very comfortable and shower in room 10 was nothing more than a dribble. Breakfast lovely though and staff friendly and helpful.
