Amazing service both before, during and and after arrival. Lovely welcoming staff, beautiful room with very comfortable bed. Great buffet breakfast with lots of choice and all delicious. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The pool not quite 28-30 degrees outside but still pretty good temperature. Not a fancy spa by any means but okay. Rooms are fine and quiet, green area around the hotel, food reasonably good.

I do not recommend

We went to this hotel for the jacuzzi and the pool. The pool was cold and very shallow. And the jacuzzi didn't work at all. The sauna wasn't hot enough. The bed was made of two parts. If you sleep next to your husband, you can't. You have to sleep on one half together because there's a cliff in the middle. The view from the window is into the bushes. We didn't like it. The food is okay.

Considering what you pay you have some expectations. If it were not for the SPA/Pool area it was not 4 star in my point of view. The rooms that were rented lacked service. Tv hanging wrong on the wall. A hair dryer was kaput in one room. Many rooms had transparent curtains and was still rented out like nothing. In some rooms there are carpets. Which seems to keeps tufts of hair from prior renters that is quiet nasty for a 4 start hotel. the carpet havent been changed last 15 years since last visit there. My first visit was start struck and well deserved 4 star almost 5. But something have changed in the last 15 years. There are major concern about lack of maintenance, knowing from what it had been to what is now. To put it simply My expectation was 4 star and i picked it from prior experience. But was let down by the maintenance. Had I known it had changed to this I would done another hotel 4 or 5 star even if had cost more. This said I checked out a day early even it was payed for.

Personalet ved skranken var ikke særlig venligt. Som aftensmad var det kun muligt at vælge en virkeligt middelmådig buffet til overpris. Den første aften havde vi ikke lyst til buffeten, så vi valgte at spise i baren, der også havde et menukort. Pigen i baren sagde, at vi skulle holde os fra at bestille Wienerschnitzelen, da den ikke var god .. Vi bestilte i stedet en karrypølse med fritter. Pølsen var overdrysset med karry, og der var 5 milliliter karrysovs til at væde de tørre fritter. Morgenmaden var kedelig. Spaområdet var en skuffelse - og uden mulighed for at slappe af i en liggestol indendørs. Efter den anden overnatning ønskede vi udskiftning af håndklæder og efterlod disse på gulvet og tog til Flensburg. Klokken 14 kom vi tilbage og konstaterede, at rengøringen ikke havde været der. Vi bad derfor om at få et par håndklæder, mens vi ventede på, at rengøringen blev tilkaldt, men jeg måtte næsten skændes med personalet, der ville tage betaling for dette .. Vi havde betalt for tre nætter men endte med at køre hjem efter to. Vi ville hellere være hjemme end dette.

Personalet kunne godt være lidt venligere og servicemindede. Saunaen er fantatisk, men der er stor variation i gus, en af dem er virkelig dygtig, mens de to andre var for hurtige og kolde. Vi var mange der talte om at det kunne være dejligt med en textilfri spa/boblebad oppe ved saunaen, det er et kæmpe ønske. Værelset var rigtig godt, men der var ikke så god WiFi forbindelse på værelset.

Gammelt hotel, men det holdes rigtig fint rent. “Spaen” er okay. Poolområdet er rent og poolen er rigtig fin. Morgenmaden er middelmådig, men synes prisen stemmer fint overens med hotellet generelt. Ligger kun 10min kørsel fra Flensborg by. Ville nok kun anbefale en overnatning som et mellemstop, og ikke som et reelt ophold.
