Good but small rooms
For a reasonable price you get a good hotel 15 minutes walk from Tokyo Station, 4 minutes from the subway, a good area, and in a street with a number of affordable eateries of various types. Be prepared for a small room. If you are a couple with large bags, you will require a fair bit of logistical manoeuvring to get into you bags and store them. Beds are firm but comfortable. As with many Japanese hotels, the pillows are small. The rooms are probably not ones for relaxing in during the day. The room we had only had a smallish frosted glass window. But if you intend to be out and your main priorities are price and location, this would be a good option.

On the nicer side of 'Average'
My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 8 nights while we stayed in Tokyo. Only a couple minutes drive (and 15 minute walk) from central Tokyo station, so it was easy to travel to with heavy luggage. Firstly, the service at the hotel was lovely. There was nobody there who spoke a great deal of English, but they still attempted to help us out the best they could. My partner was ill and they helped him with their first aid kit. The rooms are tiny. Our double room had no space for both of our suitcases, so they were put under the bed and we had to be clever with the amount of space we had. The hotel is within 100 meters of 2 convenience stores and it is surrounded by restaurants and places to eat. Also 200 meters from the closest subway station. Great location and service, but wouldn't stay again due to the size of the rooms. Just way too small.

Good choice for higher end of budget hotels
The only complaint was room size, and this is Japan. Yeah make an incredible efficient use of space, have everything you need. I especially liked the free toiletries, coffees, etc laid out for the taking. They also rent bikes and have several restaurants nearby.

Well priced business hotel
I only stayed one night at the hotel so it was functional for what I needed, however it was extremely small. We had a twin room and there was nowhere to put two small suitcases, so we had to put a coffee table on top of a chair to make space. There is also no storage space. Other than that the hotel provided several extras such as teabags and toiletries and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The location is in the financial district so there isn't much going on in the immediate area, but it's only a 20 minute walk from the Tokyo station and nearby shopping. The downside was this hotel is not near a JR train station and involves a few changes from JR, so it was easier just to get to a metro or subway nearby and pay the additional train ticket, or walk from Tokyo station.
