Great, but not quite as fab as it was
We have stayed here before so knew the facilities were what we wanted. The apartment was as expected, clean, tidy and functional, the bedroom area was slightly different from last time and could have done with more storage for clothes etc but we made it work. I also feel that for the price paid the toilet paper could be of a higher quality, might seem a small issue but the hotel is by no means cheap but the toilet paper certainly is!!
Staff were nice but I did feel not as welcoming or helpful as when we stayed before.
They did assist when we had to move rooms due to an issue caused by a neighboring room smoking and causing us to wake at 4am to an incredibly pungent stench of weed which remained, at least until we switched rooms at about 11am!!
Previously the hotel offered a car service within a small radius that could get you to local restaurants or across the Pulaski Bridge to the subway and I do feel that no longer offering this is a real shame, whilst it is a doable walk after a long day sightseeing or in poor weather that trip across the bridge can feel like a bit of an effort and it might stop me staying again, I know everyone is trying to cut costs but it really gave the place an edge and something extra.
