Great location and staff, but better for families.
Buri Rasa is located on a lovely beach, and the village nearby has some good cheap eats. Beds were very comfortable and the air-con excellent. The rooms are not spacious if you're accustomed to a more traditional Lanna style accommodation, but they are well appointed. Beach towels and sunbeds are worn and brown and could do with a refresh. This is a good place for families (and there were plenty of them when we stayed) with the safe beach and small clean pool. Staff were all lovely. Music in the restaurant at night was definitely challenging! We caught a cheap taxi a couple of nights to the next beach, Thong Nai Pan Yai, to sip cocktails at sunset on the white sand and where the bars were laid back and the music more agreeable.

Great Hotel on a Beautiful Beach
I stayed at Bury Rasa in October 2013 and I would highly recommend this hotel. Buri Rasa is located on beautiful Thong Nai Pan Noi Beach. The hotel was immaculate and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel’s restaurant was also extremely well-priced and served great food. The town of Thong Nai Pan Noi was also picturesque and equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable tropical holiday. I am definitely looking forward to returning to stay at Buri Rasa.

A fabulous place!
We booked three nights here as a short side trip from our holiday on Koh Samui. We had a fabulous stay there. It is on a beautiful crescent shaped beach which is approximately 1 kilometre in length. The sand is soft and the water brilliant. With the sea breeze on shore we even had fun in the small shore break waves . It is part of a lovely little village with ample places to eat and other shops. ATM's are handily located. At night it is beautifully lit and the Beach Club Bar at the hotel has a couple of happy hours which are great value. The hotel restaurant is very good. We had several meals there at reasonable prices. The buffet breakfast was substantial and excellent with many cuisines catered for. We saw previous reviews about the pool being small. It is certainly not large but it is child friendly and immaculately maintained. We had no need for it because it is very close to the beach. The rooms are also not large , but they are clean ,comfortable, well appointed and serviced daily. The balcony was nice. 4 bottles of drinking water were provided daily. We had Ocean View Room and loved it. The pillow menu was also welcomed by my wife, who usually travels with her own. but didn't this time.

Buri Rasa a must stay
Thank you for a wonderful stay at Buri Rasa. It was only 2 nights for out honeymoon but every staff member were amazing. Loved the place, the beach and the food. Highly recommended to anyone who doesn't want the noise or hustle bustle if the main area. Loved it. 10 out of 10!
