I really wanted to like this place, the pictures looked so amazing. First off, it's out of the way. Most people when they come to Ninh Binh stay in Tam Coc, but the better attractions are in Trang An. I wanted to experience both. The grounds are fine, the view is pretty breathtaking. I had a room in the main building, not the bungalows. The grounds were a bit flooded by the rain, which is not the fault of the property, but there really was water everywhere. Climbing the two flights of stairs up to my room (303), the stairs felt really unsafe. That was the first sign. I got to my room and I loved how big it was, but I wasn't impressed with how clean it was. The bathroom floor (most hotels and homestays put a drain in the floor and let the shower water go everywhere) was really dusty. The two towels that were folded there smelled. I got the impression no one had been in this room in a long time. The balcony, which looked over an INCREDIBLE view was filthy. There was a small table and two chairs but you'd never want to sit in them. This really bummed me out. The last straw was the toilet. I've never sat on a more uncomfortable toilet seat. Because the floor is slanted to let the water run into the floor drain, the toilet seat felt really uneven, like you were going to fall off. The food in the restaurant was really meh, as well. I left after the first night. I'll give them two stars for the view, but that's it.

Ms Pham Phuong Dung is a lovely lady. Be careful with her service pricing. Do not eat in the restaurant! The food is horrible. You are best to walk to town to eat.

Le cadre est idyllique et plutôt bien entretenu. Mais nos draps étaient tachés et non pas été changés comme annoncé entre nos 2 nuits. La douche ne coulait pas et n’avait pas d’eau chaude. Le petit déjeuner est à la carte mais très moyen. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter du balcon car très sale (déjections de rongeurs)

Des photos trompeur, la Propreté de la chambre laisse a désirer, nous avons pris une douche et a notre grande surprise problème d'évacuation Le petit dejeuner est pas tres bon , malgré le personnel sympa. Nous avons reserver 3 nuits nous sommes partis apres une nuit.
