Great stay
The Marina Bejaya was great. It's easy to access from Bus Stop 15 in Reykjavik, although a little signage to direct people might be nice. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. The in-house restaurant/bar was certainly good. I had a fish dish that was done very well and the bar was solid with very good cocktails. My room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The harbor view was nice, but one has to appreciate a working harbor to give it a thumbs up. I do. For those who enjoy a walk, the location is fine. It's easy to access all of the downtown and to stumble home. So much is nearby. With a bus stop close, one can get pretty much anywhere. I highly recommend Marina Berjaya.

Berjaya Hotel In Reykjavik a Pleasant Discovery
After years of staying in hotels clustered in Reykjavik's city center, the Berjaya Hotel by the city's working harbor was a pleasant discovery - close enough to walk to the city center in a few minutes and located by one of Reykjavik's few free parking lots. It's a hip hotel with a nice bar/restaurant, ample lobby space with cozy nooks to relax or work in, and superior rooms, some with balconies. The Berjaya is also close to a number of restaurants and museums, including the Maritime Museum and The Living Art Museum, both worth visits. With its bar/restaurant, cozy rooms and nearby free parking (which probably won't last as the neighborhood continues to develop), the Berjaya Iceland Hotel is a top choice for a stay in Reykjavik.
