Lovely hotel tucked away in the countryside. My room was a lovely size and nicely equipped. The evening meal menu wasn't vast, but the food on offer was amazing (well what I ordered was)!

Location was absolutely stunning. Accommodation beautiful and super clean! Staff very friendly and informative. Bedding and towels were so clean and fresh. Very cosy and roomy, bed was very comfortable too. Very quiet and gorgeous buildings. We'd definitely stay again! Also parking right near where you stay so a brief stroll away.

8/10 Very good

Delicious evening meal, both the tomato soup and the lamb and belly pork in gravy, very nice polite waitress. Basic bar available. Clean bathroom, very nice gel soap for bath, lovely large bed and crisp bedding No real facilities other than restaurant and the bar closes at 10. Very few comfy seats in the restaurant to retire to after dinner and these were taken over by a large group, so we had to either continue to sit at our table or go back to our room. Outside town so not an easy walk to other restaurants or bars Overall however the price reflects this and the hotel was very good value.

Overall good value accommodation. Breakfast is buffet only. Dinner was ok, all very acceptable but not great, but then it’s not too expensive either - which balances it out. Staff are helpful. At the end of the day I’ll happily stay again if I need to be in the area.

More at the "motel" end of things than a proper hotel, but a decent enough place to stay despite that. You will NOT be staying in the house shown in the picture, but in the motel complex at the back. Continental breakfast is good value. We didn't eat there (other than breakfast) so can't comment on the food.

6/10 Good

Great bed with firm mattress. Unfortunately the shower was spouting very hot water. And the hand held shower head wasn’t spouting any water! The hotel needs some upgrading but appreciate the nightly rates are lower than many in the area. Unfortunately restaurant wasn’t open. The hotel has huge potential.

Found the bed a bit lumpy. Possible as it could be divided into 2 twin beds. Otherwise I loved my room, the property and the garden were beautiful.

Friendly staff, heating system is old as expected which causes extremes of hot and cold in both heating and water. Staff kindly lent a heater when the heating system was not working. Very beautiful hotel.
