Disclaimer: I did not actually stay at this property however, I would like to help inform future guests on my experience and forewarn about the limited check in hours. I was not able to check in to the B&B because my flight was changed and then delayed, and I arrived after 6pm and Maureen gave no back up options to check in after 6 pm. In fact check in hours are very limited (only between 2 pm - 6 pm). I arrived on site and called Maureen twice but she marked me as a no-show. I traveled to 4 B&Bs during my time in Australia which all provided an alternative option to get keys to the room after reception hours (and all reached out to me with plenty of communication in a timely fashion not the day of my arrival), but instead Maureen scolded me for not reaching out to her, she blamed me repeatedly for not communicating with her and spoke to me condescendingly when I offered recommendations on sending auto-messages to guests in the future. I would not recommend this accommodation because Maureen has poor communication and customer service, and has no empathy on the traveler who may run into unpredictable travel changes. She was also unwilling to take advice so I could help prevent this happening to future guests. I was told "not to tell her how to run her business". I have never been talked to so disrespectfully before!
