Great location and view from 7th floor. Lift is annoyingly slow. Notice of linen change would have been helpful as I was a bit startled when guy came in to my room unannounced. Box of tissues and an extra toilet roll would be good for a 9 day stay.

Always hard to review 'accurately' when rooms that are 'individually owned' may vary. For our experience, I would describe the room we were allocated as tired and long overdue for a reno. The Equinox is convenient for public transport, walking, and has lovely views with good facilities eg pool, spa, steam room, bbq's etc.

Hey please do better for long term-ers
Different owners for different rooms with different set-up. The answer I got from reception for balcony chair for 2 rather than 1. Had to ask for missing sink/ bath stoppers, or even a cutting board. I had to bring my own pair of food scissors for kitchen use. We had to improvise where we can move the big microwave so we can use the kitchen bench for food prep. we're hoping we get a better room when we get back, as we've re-booked Equinox again in near future for long term.

Fantastic location!
Fantastic location, directly across the road from the lovely beach. Proximity to cafes, pubs, restaurants and shopping was great - we walked everywhere! The hotel has seen better days but the location and the ocean & canal views from our room definitely made up for it tenfold! Added to that, undercover secure parking was free. Service was great upon check in and again upon check out. We will definitely stay here again.
