Residence Inn by Marriott Calgary South

Newer, modern, well-kept hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff. Our children's favourite hotel during our road trip.

We had 3 rooms booked for a family trip. Rooms were fairly new and beds were comfortable. Location is excellent as there were numerous shops/services across the street and the hotel is near the highway. Breakfast had decent options and staff were very good at the breakfast area. Food was refilled very quickly once it ran out. There was ample parking space at the underground parking area. The entertainment options were excellent on the TV's as it included Youtube and Netflix. The washroom's did not have trash bags on the trash cans. This was consistent on all 3 rooms therefore not sure if this is normal practice or not. We left the rooms at around 2pm and came back at night to find out housekeeping was not done even though the door hangers were taken down. This issue was brought up during check-out and were told once housekeeping crosses the room once, they don't come back again. The room size was an issue in the accessible suites. There was barely space to open luggage in the 2nd bedroom.

This hotel is no longer new, but still has that new look and feel to it. Front check in to the free breakfast, the staff show that they care. Keep it up

Great new hotel. Very accommodating for my son's allergies. Very happy with our stay.

Perfect hotel for a family of 6. We stayed with our 4 children. There was plenty of room with two bedrooms + a pullout couch. This will be our new hotel of choice when staying in Calgary. Kids loved the water slide and pool. The area has everything you’d need. Highly recommend.
