We stayed a week here whilst exploring the Andes around Salta. This is a small but nicely presented hotel and has a great location a couple of blocks from the main square, and easy walking distance from everywhere else, including the bus station.
Our ensuite room was large and comfortable with fridge, wifi and aircon. There was a computer in the lounge, as well as plently of reading matter. Some rooms are better, one small and on the street.
Staff are delightful, we really felt at home here and amongst friends. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were helped with all our many queries and problems, and really useful advice about the various trips available. Parking for our rental car was arranged locally by the hotel. The owners, Veronica and ??, speak excellent English (the others don't but are charming and helpful).
There is a nice rear patio with seats and a grill which we didn't use as it was the rainy season. Note that this is the "furnished balcony" referred to on internet booking sites; you won't get a private balcony!
