We loved our stay! A charming hotel with friendly staff. Room was basic but super clean and very comfortable-we slept well and appreciated the fan that was in ready for us in the crazy heatwave! We had food from the bistro and ate in the garden. It was romantic and relaxed. Food was simple but delicious and great value. Breakfast was great too. The hotel itself is really old and quirky. The staff were kind, attentive and helpful. We plan on returning as it was a characterful, charming stay.

Beautiful old English stately house converted to a hotel, main reception, restaurant and bar located in the house itself, rooms converted from the stable block, out buildings and so forth and decorated in period of the house. Stayed in the main building for 1 night, room was ok for the size it was, suffiecient if you only need to rest your head after a long day out. bathroom facilities were great. Rainfall shower was amazing. Free toiletries too. Enough parking for at least 30 cars if not more. There were a couple of mazes in the gardens which were cool and fun. Overall an 8/10 fir the stay.
