My room was not cleaned on the second day
I didn't expect too much for the rate I paid. The front desk staff were very helpful with guides on directions and transport. Unfortunately, The house keeping staff missed cleaning my room on the second day. This was very disappointing.

Below average
Rooms are tiny, I have stayed in a few tokyo hotels but this by far beyond a joke for a twin room. The cleaner was selective with what they cleaned, wouldn't wipe down vanity some days, wouldn't replace our glasses with clean ones. Pillows are horrible. Location is good for food and shopping, the train just outside is an express line that has very limited stops but otherwise close to the temple. The washing machine is average and the dryer doesnt dry your clothes even a little aftwr 2 hours but they claim it works. Nothing is offered in this hotel. The fridge kept our drinks warm not cold. For the price we paid approx 13000 yen a night we were far from impressed.

Watch out for the extra tax
I did not like having to pay a extra tax when we arrived. We were not notified of this "tax" and think that it was a bit of a scam. Towels need to be replaced- mattress was very soft.

This hotel was well placed, clean, easy to reach and has free self-service laundry! Air con struggled a little. Highly recommend.

Good stay
Good value for Tokyo but Asakusa is usually a more affordable area to stay in. Our one complaint was that for a non-smoking room, our room smelled like cigarettes probably due a previous guest smoking in the room. Otherwise, room was small but expected. Overall a comfortable stay.
