There are better options
The room was small (you could access only one side of the bed) and the bathroom very small (easily the smallest out of the three downtown Tokyo hotels we stayed at recently). Good location with good access to two train stops and an easy 10-15 minute walk to the activity of the Shinjuku area (if that is what you are looking for). If you want a bit more space and comfort from your hotel room then shop around. No safe in the room - again, the two other hotels had these - room costs among the three were similar.

A little gem
This hotel was a great find. Less than 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station and only a few minutes walk from the subway. Located on the quieter western side of the station but an easy 10 minute walk to the lively Kabuckicho area. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Free toiletry items were available in the foyer. Wifi was excellent. The hotel has a restaurant but we did not visit it. There is a coffee shop at the entrance and staff here were also very friendly and helpful. The area abounds with dining options and convenience stores. The eateries are not always easy to spot as some are located in high-rise office blocks. Our best find was the nearby Nomura building which has a Starbucks, a bakery and a nice Thai restaurant as well as other eateries on the ground floor. There are also restaurants on the 49th and 50th floors. The 50th floor offers great city views for free and we were excited to have a great view of Mt Fuji. We also came upon the I-land tower above the subway station and found eateries there as well. We were very happy with this hotel and would definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to return to Tokyo.

Good location, helpful staff
Really great location. About 10-15min walk to main Shinjuku Station. 2min walk from Nishishinjuku Station (metro). Rooms are quite small but that was expected as most places in Tokyo are small. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff!
