The location is close to shopping. The hotel needs to replace the towels as they are shred bare.
Hotel was very nice and modern however our stay was average. The room was clean and nicely done however the shower had no door and every shower (with the fixed shower head) resulted in the entire bathroom becoming completely drenched. In the bathroom there was a power point for shavers only and my girlfriend wished to straighten her hair. As the only mirrors in the room were in the bathroom and at the entrance she had nowhere to plug in the hair straightener and use a mirror. After calling reception to ask for a hand held mirror they sent house keeping and then maintenance, only for them to try to jam the hair straightener into the shaver only power point in the bathroom which resulted in the hair straightener continuously beeping (not enough power I guess) before they left. Whether they didn't understand that we wanted a small mirror or didn't have one I am not sure but it resulted with her doing here hair in the reflection of my sunglasses in the main part of the room. Finally we wished to go on a tour to a specific elephant sanctuary outside Bangkok. We tried consulting the concierge/tour desk who was less than helpful and continuously tried to sell a tour to a different place which we were completely uninterested in and when we made this clear she just tried to barter on the price. Overall the staff were polite but unhelpful and we were left disappointed with our stay. Not what I expect from a 4 star hotel - will definitely stay somewhere else next time.
The hotel stay was great. In the middle of all the shopping and local attractions. The staff were very pleasant and breakfast variety was excellent. Over the experience was pleasant. Would come back again.
Could have used snacks in the mini bar. Otherwise nice gym and very new. Good breakfast.
Platinum mall is just beside the hotel, and the underground links to the mall directly. It’s very convenient to go around main shopping areas from the hotel. The hotel breakfast was good too.
