Comfy and a great deal!
This place is a deal for the New York area. The bed was super comfy, The entertainment TV was convenient and I didn't have to watch live TV with commercials. The refrigerator was helpful for leftovers. Staff was friendly. And the parking was only $15 a night.

Really nice for price paid. Quiet area even with fire house next door. No microwave in building but mini fridge in room. Blackout curtains and decent sized tv

Good Hotel
The room was very clean and comfort but even though the smoking is prohibited, some passengers in other rooms smoked a lot at night and that was annoying.

A nice find on the edge of Brooklyn!
The Lodge at Red Hook provided a nice Clean and Quite location. The rooms were spacious and well done with all the basics for a traveler. Checking was different in given that it was a selfie checkin protocol. I sure I be stay her again.

Five star especially considering the price!
This was our second stay here prior to taking a trip on the Queen Mary. Great location and the main street has good places to eat. The ferries are right there and great for going over to Lower Manhattan. Would def. stay here again. Also, very helpful staff at front desk area.

2/10 Poor

My husband and I were very happy on our first visit to NYC. During our stay we were comfortable and satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel (despite the permanent noise made by the toilet pipe). However after we checked out they charged us $60 USD for no reason. When calling them on several occasions, their service was unfortunately bad, since Front Desk only informed that the charge was the deposit and that it would be released at any time. After 12 days, today I received an answer that the charge had been for "taking with us the towels from the room", which is not true and took us by surprise. The towels are very stiff and we didn't like them, plus there was no way they would have fit in our suitcase after the shopping we did in NYC 😅 it's not acceptable to pay for something we didn't take from the room. As a word of warning, be careful or take photos of all the towels you receive and leave in your room at the end of your stay.

2/10 Poor

Hotel is located in a desolate neighborhood with garbage on the sidewalks with many rat traps. To get to the hotel from the F train, you have to cross a 10 line highway and search for the pedestrian walkway. There is no place nearby the hotel to eat except a dirty Jamaican restaurant across the street. My hotel room was clean enough but toilet kept running and bathroom floor had black hair that had not been vacuumed. No front desk-just a table where a staff person sits not greeting guests because they are glued to their phone.
