Location is prime, endless food and bubble tean options within 5 mins walk around the hotel. Nanjing square just across the street… Its close to everywhere including train station to Pudong side and airport. Breakfast with decent considering the price. King size bed is extremely huge, more like a XL King size and so comfy. The only negative thing is we sometime find unpleasant smell in hallway area and the extremely loud toilette flush.

We had a great stay in Elong Hotel. The room was well equipped with comfortable pillows, plenty of bottled water and free drinks in the minibar. Breakfast spread was good and the free noodle supper was a delight. There’s free flow of coffee and tea at the lobby. Conviently located near the Nanjing Pedestrian Street and close to 2 main subway stations. Many restaurants near the hotel. Front office staff were helpful and friendly.

Staff were very nice and friendly. The location is great if you want to be centre of city, next to Nanjing Rd and 500m to the waterfront Bund walkway. The property is clean. We had a wonderful stay and were extremely happy with both the location and the facilities at the hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We especially appreciated the free self-service laundry room. The complimentary water and soft drinks were also replenished every day, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was very good, and we were pleasantly surprised that the hotel even offered complimentary noodles in the evening. What really made our stay special, however, was the staff. Everyone we met, both in housekeeping and at reception, was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. A special thank you to 橙子, who was exceptionally kind and service-minded. We had many questions about Shanghai, including sightseeing, shopping, transportation and bookings, and she was always happy to help us with a smile. One day, when we wanted to go to the cinema, she looked up the cinema and its location for us, showed us how to book the tickets, and explained how to get there either on foot or by taxi using the local apps. This kind of personal assistance made exploring Shanghai so much easier for us. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel. The combination of a great location, spacious and well-equipped rooms, excellent facilities and, above all, such genuinely helpful and friendly staff made our stay in Shanghai particularly enjoyable.
