Very quaint hotel. Felt like we were staying in a bit of history. Very nice bar and grounds. Keswick is a neat area, with lots of shops and restaurants. Only complaint: the biggest freaking spider I’ve even seen decided to take up residence in the bathroom. Fortunately it was the last day, so we let him have it.

We have visited this hotel over the last 10 years. They have upgraded it to a lovely standard in the bar, dining room and bedrooms. The food is amazing. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Some corridors and main reception are slightly dated and need updating.

Brilliant location and spotless room and main areas. The rooms are slightly dated and the hotel could use some TLC on the walls and ceilings in some locations. The bar was great as was the breakfast but we didn't use the restaurant. The grounds are extensive and lovely to see the bunnies hopping round. The location is also top notch and we will return next time we visit Keswick.

This is an old style country house hotel. As such it will probably not be to everyone's personal taste (e.g.perhaps decor a bit dark) but we thought this hotel was excellent. Service, breakfast both super. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and, importantly, has (free) car parking facilities. Would have no hesitation in staying here again.

You cannot fault the location of the hotel, within easy walking distance of the centre of Keswick. The staff are wonderful. I asked for a cocktail the bar steward wasn't aware of. However, when I to the bar the following evening, he'd looked up what was in it and was able to make me one. The food is very good, with a good choice and the dining staff are very professional. However what does let the hotel down is the interior decoration. It is very tired and worn and defiantly needs an upgrade.

This may only be a three star hotel - however the staff make it five star, all staff are so helpful and genuinely want to assist you in all ways. The breakfast room staff are exceptional with their quality of service. The porridge at breakfast if consistently highest quality I have ever had in a hotel, top marks, all breakfast was good. Room although dated was kept very clean and well serviced. Parking was great always spaces available. Location excellent for us, close to town only a short walk away

This was the second time we’ve stayed at Keswick Country House Hotel and it will not be the last! Beautiful building, fantastic breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, AMAZING cocktails, bunnies on the lawn! I had to take away one star because the toilet roll is terrible (single ply, practically dissolves in your hand) and housekeeping didn’t replace all our towels despite being left in the bath, but they are tiny, fixable things, and, like I said, staff are incredibly helpful and happy to help.

This is a lovely old house within walking distance of the town proper. Nice property. My room was on the 2nd floor, and while there is an elevator, I had to traverse up one set of stairs and down another to get to it from the 2nd floor elevator. This isn't an issue for me but it would be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. My room was well-kept up and had a good view of a fell to the north. One annoyance: there was no shampoo or conditioner, just a "three-in-one" shower goo. Yuck. The restaurant was nice enough, but had unusually "stiff" service, for lack of a better term, and I felt it was overpriced compared to what's available in town.
