V Pleasurable stay
Royal very good with everything except the heating in our room wasn’t on in November! We had to ask reception and they had to turn it on Surely it should have been on low in late autumn/winter?!

Very good 8.0
Mostly really enjoyable and would stay again 😀
We really enjoyed our stay in Cardiff this weekend, this hotel is in a great city centre location overlooking the Principality Stadium. The rooms are nicely furnished and the beds quite comfy. The shower is great (no extractor fan though) and towels changed daily which was really good. Check in was really quick and all of the girls are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The car park was a little expensive for 48 hours £32 - although without the hotel validating your car park ticket it would be £51.50! The only thing stopping this review from being a 5* one was the abrupt and unfriendly barman who rudely rushed us to make a decision as to the drinks we wanted and really had no idea of customer service at all. If he had been behind the bar on our second night we would have gone straight to our room instead of enjoying a few drinks in the bar. Thank you everyone else for a great stay.

Good 6.0
No Onsite Parking and Horrible Windows
Walls are very thing and windows were left open either by the maid or previous guests but you couldn't really tell so all night I could really hear the street noise. Also the reason I booked this place was it said it had parking but its not onsite and there was no valet to take the car for you since I was arriving late in the evening and then had to walk with why bags back to the hotel since the front desk didn't offer to come out and take my bags inside. Service could be better

Fair 4.0
The location of this hotel is very good. The service on check in was friendly. Unfortunately I found the overall condition of the hotel very poor. There was a very stale smell in the corridor and in my room. The carpet in all the public spaces is worn. There was no proper window in my room and it felt musty. The furniture was very worn and the bathroom had stains on the walls and the grouting in the tiles was dirty. The bed was not very comfortable and there was a green light that was flashing in what might have been a smoke alarm directly over the bed so I found it difficult to sleep. There are a lot of stairs to climb with luggage. Overall I would be unlikely to stay here again unless it was refurbished.

Exceptional 10.0
excellent one night stay twitch Wales semi final.
There was a delay in finding our booking, but gave us drinks vouchers to compensate. Overall very good stay, but can be noisy, downside to being in central location.
