Property was nice, the bed was very uncomfortable. The have also charged my card for two nights of lodging when we only stayed one night. Which I have had to file a dispute. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying again.

Halls and room were dark, very dim light. Noisy. Shower water pressure low, not eco- low. No room fridge and no ice machine on the floor, anywhere? Sheets and pillow not fresh smelling.

    Just an ok stay..

This is a really cute hotel but I do think they need to not be cheap and put refrigerator's in all rooms. That was crazy for the money you spend per night. I also had hair in my bathtub so that was pretty gross. The staff is young and not very professional and for this hotel, things need to be bumped up a bit. Your charging too much for just an ok hotel. The beds were super comfortable and I did sleep very well so not all bad.

Up to date with COVID precautions. Very clean throughout. Nice Egyptian (I think) cotton bedding.

A wonderful property and very kind and helpful staff. I am sure it was due to Covid restrictions but the room, though very comfortable, did not feel fresh. Furniture had not been dusted so had a bit of a worn feeling to it. Otherwise a great location and they are doing their best in a tough time.

    Dirty rooms... disappointing.

Luckily our stay was only for one night because this property was a major disappointment. The first room was disgusting with stains and remnants of things that we prefer not to imagine what they are. Not sure what The Brunswick Hotel’s protocol is for “room is ready” but whatever it is needs to be seriously amended. How does a property give the “all okay” when the room is dirty with stains and disgusting deposits on the toilet seat, stains and crusty material on the bed frame...? The woman at the front desk came to look and didn’t give any feedback other than offering another room next door. These stains are EASILY visible so how does this go unnoticed? The second room was dusty, the bathroom light didn’t work, there was no coffee maker, the walls were dented and scratched and there was a huge clump of hair in the shower as well as moldy substances on the shower curtain. The Brunswick Hotel describes itself as “known for its stylish interiors”... that is laughable. Message to hotel, cleanliness should be your main priority not least, and ensure rooms are properly equipped and functional. If you pay attention to the reviews my experience, unfortunately, is not the exception. We have a son at Bowdoin so imagine we will be visiting again but not returning here.
