The perfect hotel really does exist! We couldn’t fault Dungallan Country House in any way. Stunning location, great parking, clean and beautiful rooms, incredibly friendly staff and wonderful food and drinks.

The location is amazing with great views. The room we had was in the back part of the building with small stairs. We did not expect that. They should make it clear on their website. I would have reserved a room then in the main building! Other than that, it was great.

An absolute gem of a property - from rooms, bar, dining room and staff. Wonderful breakfasts prepared each morning. Do yourself a favour and book yourself a dinner there as well. Chef is very talented! The views of boats in the bay and the shoreline of Oban are spectacular from this property. Highly recommend.

A proper hotel in a beautiful setting. Not part of a chain (well at least I don’t think so) and not a converted pub. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. We would love to go back.

Exceptional service from the staff (Kim, Lisa and Declan were so helpful) from arrival to departure. Food was very good- great breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea. The rooms were lovely. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Overall it felt luxurious and personal. Highly recommend.

I loved my stay here as it was a big treat for me. I was in the Lismore Room at the back and the only complaints I have are that at night there was a noise coming from downstairs and I couldn't get to sleep. Thankfully it stopped at 12.30. I went downstairs to speak to someone and no one was to be found. The other thing was my breakfast. Sausages were ok, scrambled egg was ok but my bacon was hard and too tough to cut or chew. Apart from that the hotel was stunning and wee Lisa was great. The shower was amazing 😀
