All the potential for an awesome stay...except.
The location IS key, ski in ski out. The property is good, has enough facilities for a good ski vacation, and the personal interactions I had with the staff were pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately for us we ran in to a few too many issues which weren't really handled well.
On our first morning I was contacted by a "service agent" via text asking how our stay was. I listed a number of items;
- fridge and freezer weren't cold
- clearly used towel left behind from previous guest
- main hot tub wasn't working (another guest mentioned this was the case the year before as well)
- Trash in the hallway for 24hrs+, from other guests (inexplicably there was no cleaning staff for our entire stay)
The only response I received to any of my comments was to confirm which hot tub I was referring to.
Upon checkout an agent addressed my list with an apology, but still no offer of any sort of compensation or refund. By this point we had also discovered bathroom tissue with feces on it behind one of the toilets in our room. This was also met with an apology but not the level of response that I feel was merited with a guest finding feces.
My final summary.
The staff seems great. The property could be fantastic. The management seems to be responding with very "corporate placation" rather than having the ability to really address issues.
We wanted to love it, but were underwhelmed in the end. At least the ski hill is amazing.
