Exceptional 10.0
I had a wonderful time at Citadines Mercer! The set up of the room felt like an apartment more than a hotel which is what I want from now on. This was if not one of the best accommodations I’ve ever stayed at on any vacation. The location is 1 minute walking distance to bars and very nice Japanese restaurant. The metro is a short 5 minute walk away too and if you don’t like taking the metro the hotel is easily findable for Ubers or taxis. I usually have a rule to never stay at the same hotel twice in the same city/country unless it was an incredible experience. I can tell you with no doubt when I come back to Hong Kong I will stay here for a few nights. Other things to consider the mini bar was free. The hotel even provided a free cell phone with the room. I’ve never heard of this until here. This was invaluable to have while in country. The free phone allowed me to have the capability to me to make an unlimited amount of calls internationally and came with free unlimited data too.

Exceptional 10.0
An unparalleled personal experience... Loved it.
I don't often feel the urge to leave reviews but my stay at Citadines was exceptional. Decided to take my mom to HK for a few days for some rest and food. We initially booked at the Citadines harbourview where some of the rooms had been recently renovated. My mom is very sensitive to paint smell and felt a little nauseated. The staff did everything possible to move us to different rooms. Eventually we asked if we could perhaps move to the other property.. mercer.. They not only refunded us the prepaid amount but arranged everything with the Mercer. Catherine at the Mercer was waiting for us and made sure my mom felt welcome and really treated her... Like her own mother. The others on the team especially Ming and Mark but really all the others... Were always at hand to literally do anything, always smiles and something funny to chat about. We loved it so much that extended our stay twice. This level of personal service that really came from the heart is difficult to find and continued throughout our stay each time and without exception. The room executive studio apartment.. Is fantastically done up and the staff were again happy to provide extra cutlery and free drinks in the minibar. I would like to add a special mention for Carol at the breakfast room. So lovely and efficient and smiling with super intelligent conversation and great food. I really can't thank the guys enough and a special thank you from my mom. She is looking forward to being back there soon.

Very good 8.0
Attention to details needed
Breakfast is included but really is pretty bad . We had so-called free mini bar - but the selection is so pathetic . Also we were in a serviced apartment - insufficient plates ,glasses etc and absolutely NO cutlery - not even a teaspoon to stir my coffee. Oh and please provide ice cubes - this is pretty standard ? - I had to buy a huge bag from Seven 11 just for a few icecubes !!

Very good 8.0
Great short term place, not too bad for long stay
Is in a great location, about 5minute walk to Sheung Wan station, walkable to Hong Kong airport. Surrounding area has pretty good facilities. Gym is very limited and small. Dependent on package, included breakfast is good with different varieties every day, continental and a decent hot selection. Breakfast area also has balcony seats for those wishing to sit outside. Staff very accomodating but breakfast area isn't too big though I personally haven't encountered a time when I couldn't find a seat.. Kitchenette is acceptable, sink a bit too small, induction plate is acceptable but there is NO oven. A microwave is included but there are times when an oven is needed. Pans and crockery very limited, enough for snacks but not for proper cooking. There is no drainer for dishes, no knife, no chopping board, no can opener so will need to buy them for long stays if needed. Bathroom and bedroom are luxurious, bath has both rainfall and shower heads as well as a bath tub and ample space. Toilet tissue placement slightly awkward. For long stays, the lack of laundry facilities is slightly inconvenient. Other than that, if cooking facilities arent needed, this is an excellent place for both short and long stays.

Good 6.0
location Palermo
After a slight hiccup with our room, which all seem to be very very small, we found the staff to be very helpful, especially bar staff at night. Could not believe no iron available at all in hotel!! And no tea/coffe facilities in rooms. Breakfast was good and good location for exploring.
