Highly recommended
A lovely stay. Beautiful building, gardens and surroundings. The pool is a wonderful addition, and we made full use of it. Owner and staff were friendly, caring and flexible in their management style. Overall it was a really good family experience.

Perfect for us!
Absolutely loved this perfect place for us! Great family room and loved the swimming pool and spa onsite! Thank you to Aldercarr Hall! What a gem of a place, lovely outside space. Would love to see some more fruit options with breakfast but other than that we were very happy! We will most certainly stay again!

Very good for the price
For a family stay, the mini suite with a double room, separate bunk bed room and small lounge area with TV, coffee and fridge, all in a detached building so we didn't have to worry about making noise, was perfect. The rooms were clean and the beds and temperature comfortable. The shower wasn't luxurious but was clean. The breakfast was help yourself cereal, toast, yoghurt, juice, tea and coffee, so as long as you're not expecting full cooked breakfast, it'll get you going! The outside area is nice if you get good weather. Can't help but feel some of the less kind reviews are expecting too much in this price bracket in this area. If you're after a luxury 5* manor house this isn't it, but you should expect to pay a lot more. If you're after a small but perfectly comfortable, safe, clean family suite for not too much, those is very good!
