The check-in receptionist was rude. It was a surprise that breakfast was not included, this was not clear in the advertisements and no options for with/without breakfast available. A cozy hotel with and older style of decour, with a decent amount of amenities. For the price and location a good value for money, breakfast had a decent amount of items and was of a good quality, scrambled egg was from fresh eggs. We had ordered a double room, and the bathroom was huge, but the bed was what I would describe as a 1.5 person bed, but we could both lay there comfortably All in all a nice experience

I have stayed at Ansgar Hotel many times. I always feel very welcome and during the years that have past I think it has just become better and better. Location is the very best and you cannot find a better choice in Esbjerg. Personally I recommend to chose one of the bigger roooms.
