Good location, daggy decor and 9:30am check out
Great location with the beach on one side and the wharf and all of its restaurants and shops on the other. The apartment was fully equipped, clean and had new carpet. The smell of the new carpet was toxic and overpowering and made the stay unpleasant. The apartment shouldn’t have been let out or been aired out totally before allowing people to stay. The decor is a bit dreary and dated but functional for families on holidays. Decent size warm pool and direct beach access from the building. If you want a view, you need to be on the top two floors - otherwise you are looking at bushland. Parking underground is suitable if you drive a mini- not so much an SUV. The 9:30 am check out is just wrong and inconsiderate to any family who wants to squeeze in activities on their last morning. There’s a multitude of apartment blocks in the area, if I had my time again I would probably choose something a bit more upmarket.

Would totally recommend 84 The Spit. The hosts (I apologize I have forgot name) are friendly and very helpful. The view from my room was fantastic and so calming...very clean and well equipped kitchen. I would stay there again.
