We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Panamericana. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and in a great location within walking distance of many excellent restaurants and the beautiful historic center of Mérida. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection to start the day. The pool was quite busy with children during our first couple of days, with a lot of noise and ball games, but fortunately it became much quieter towards the end of our stay, and we really enjoyed relaxing there. Overall, a very pleasant hotel in a lovely city. Mérida is definitely worth visiting, and we would happily stay here again.

The hotel has such a great relaxing vibe. It is a bit away from all the action which is a good thing because it can get noisy and busy in the heart of Merida. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the heart of the city and you can’t beat the pool area, dining area, and lovely lobby.

Gran Hotel Panamerica, I am a fan! The hotel is recently remodeled/ in the process of remodeling and the common areas and rooms are elegant. They have an amazing breakfast that is included. The pool area is over the top... such a fine 3D mural on the wall of the pool it is worth a stop here just to see. All the staff was great, the price a fantastic value. Lastly, the hotel is in a quiet area and I slept without interruption.

The hotel is very nice inside, clean, spacious and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was very good and there are plenty of choices of food for all. A special mention to Chevy at reception, she was very courteous, pleasant and very helpful to my wife and I. It is a very short walk to most parks and Merida attractions.

The pool was beautiful but not heated so we couldn’t swim in it. There are lots of chairs to sun bathe in. We were able to safely walk to many markets, plazas and restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Thank you for an amazing stay! The staff was wonderful, especially Luis, who was gracious and helpful each and every day. He took great care of us during our stay, always with a smile. The hotel is beautiful and we look forward to another visit. Cruz was also very helpful and efficient in scheduling our taxi to the airport. You really have a fabulous staff!
