Friendly Staff but 'old-school' system
In general, the staff are friendly and helpful but the system is 'old-school' and disappointing. First, if you are using a debit/visa card, they'll insist you pay everything upfront when you check in, where usually the bills are only settled during check-out. Then, they don't accept any foreign currencies...! Meaning - Even if you wanna buy (exchange) ringgit at the reception... They just don't have it!! The place is huge and the room is spacious and clean. But again, it's 'old-school' and everything is manual. The channels can go off anytime and will not come back... Overall, it's ok if you are only staying for a few days... Just tahan and get over it. But please don't expect too much and be prepared when you are there.
