The room was clean and quiet and comfortable and seemed to be recently renovated, but the property as a whole is a mess. The stairs and overall walk to the room were a confusing nightmare and there was an inch of standing water on part of the walkway that could not be avoided. Decent value for the price. The attached gentleman’s club is either a plus or a minus depending on your preference, but it was a surprise. It didn’t bother me.

The room was not properly cleaned and did not smell fresh. There was a strong odor of cigarette smoke in the air and on the pillows, and the bed cover had a small burn hole from a cigarette. The hallway also appeared unclean and had an unpleasant smell. On a positive note, the bathroom was properly cleaned and in good working condition.

This was the most sparsely furnished place we have ever stayed. The room itself was spacious enough, and it was well cleaned. However, it lacked a lot of things that other hotels we have visited include just as a matter of course. Our room had no chairs, no table, no place to hang clothes, and there were no outlets in the bathroom. There was no microwave nor refrigerator in our room, no iron nor ironing board, no coffee maker, and not even a coffee pot at the front desk. No breakfast was provided. On the plus side, the shower was a nice tiled one with glass doors, and there was plenty of hot water very quickly when we turned it on. We had two small, thin bath towels, one hand towel, and one washcloth for two people. The man at the front desk gave me another washcloth when I asked, but I would’ve expected more towels in the room at the start. We would not stay here again. The room was clean, but that was basically the only thing in its favor. For not much more cash outlay, you can get places that have a lot more amenities and more comfort in the way of someplace to sit, workspace, and hanging space for clothes.

Staff was very nice but mentioned a bar next door when we could hear the music in the office. It was around 9:00pm and it was just my 16 year old daughter and I traveling. We were hungry and there was a menu for food at the bar on the window barrier between staff and us. We went to the room and unloaded, it was very clean. Then we decided to walk to the bar to see if we could get food! When we got to where we could see the front of the bar it said “ GENTLEMANS CLUB” on the front and I looked at my daughter and said I hope this is not a strip club and we walked in. It was a strip club! You would think that the people in the office would have mentioned that but nope they just referred to it as a bar! Needless to say when we walked out my 16 year old daughter said “ why didn’t the lady in the office warn us?” Kind of disturbing.

Mysterious stains on the sheets. Filthy floor that hadn't been mopped. No plugs in the bathroom for hairdryer if you brought one because they didn't have any. No dressers. No closets. Sketchy security. Front desk lady was nice.
