Very welcoming stay. The hotel is beautiful and situated in beautiful grounds. The manager Miriam is a lovely lady who takes her time to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible . There are people who stay there regularly throughout the year or visit annually and that speaks volumes .

The building is old and so a little rough around the edges but we received a warm welcome, it was clean the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was yummy! We would happily stay again.

This won't be for everyone, but the building's authentic grandeur, character and charm, coupled with the faultless service made our stay at Cleeve House perfect! The setting is breathtaking, and waking up to sunrise over the Wiltshire countryside through original Gothic-style windows made us feel like we were in a period drama. Our breakfast was cooked to order, and there was also a continental selection. The reception hall makes you look up and say "wow!" The rooms were cosy, clean and well heated - a must considering the original windows and walls. The garden and grounds were huge and gave plenty of room for kids (and adults!) to run around. The nocturnal wildlife outside and the incredibly clear night skies make it feel like you're miles away from the modern hustle.
