Good value accommodation
Good value accommodation. Single room with sink was clean and functional. Shared bathroom with shower was regularly checked and cleaned well. I arrived at 16:00 and had no problems checking in.

Hostel in edgy location
This is a hostel in a part of Leipzig that I wouldnt choose to stay in again. The check in time is very limited, 4pm to 7pm, there are no staff evident outside this time. Access to the hostel is through a dark alleyway and a locked gate and rear door to the property outside of these hours. The location is on a very run down street of mainly boarded up shops. The staff were pleasant and the room was clean but as a solo female traveller I would not stay here again.

clean and cheap, but not perfect.
Leipzig is a fantastic town with amazing history and one of the best city center locations in the world. This hotel is located in a not so great section of town. The staff was not great. They over charged me for the room and messed up charges on my credit card. Hotels.com did help me with this to correct the issue. The room itself, while spartan, was very clean and fair for the price. The hotel is about a 25 minute direct walk from the city center. The area of town is not the nicest. But for the price of the room and for the love of Leipzig I would be tempted to stay there again. There is ample busses and trolleys nearby the hotel to take you where you want to go if you don't want to walk. You do need check in between 4-7pm or your out of luck. And you do need to make sure it's very clear how to leave and enter the building outside of those hours. Also, if you have trouble climbing stairs, you should be aware since the rooms maybe several flights of stairs up with no elevator.

The hotel is located close to transit to the downtown core, but the room had very thin walls and we had a hard time sleeping from the noise created by other guests.
