A friendly hotel. Small enough for staff to treat people personally. Large enough to have good facilities. A haven to relax in the gardens by the pool. Very well maintained. Food is great.

This was my favorite hotel in our two-week trip. The location was perfect. You’re close to the beach, national park and lots of restaurants. The hotel workers are fantastic & friendly. The people that stayed here during our stay were very friendly and fun to hang out with. The room was as pictured on the website; spacious, great AC & a very large closet. The bathroom was nice with great water pressure and included shampoo, conditioner, soap & lotion. There isn’t a makeup mirror, bring your own. The pool was small but nice. Not too cold, just right. You will see lizards, iguanas, agoutis & the occasional squirrel monkeys. Loved this hotel and location! We will be back!

From the moment you walk in the front doors, you feel relaxed. The infinity pool amid the trees is so beautiful and tranquil and there's plenty of spots to sit in the shade or soak up some sun. The breakfast was very good, with many options, and we also enjoyed dinner one night. Delicious! The staff is incredible and very friendly and we'd love to return here. The rooms are also fantastic. Lots of space, beautful decor and the patios are so cozy we could have spent all afternoon here. Our only critique is that it wasn't easy to enjoy coffee in the room. There was no coffee maker and you had to go to the lobby, request a coffee, and carry it back. Not really a big deal, but for such a nice patio and relaxation setup they had, this was one thing I found missing.

Oh boy. I waited until I got my refund to write this review. This hotel is horrible I repeat HORRIBLE! We checked in a Thursday everything was good. Its 11pm and the neighbors in the next room are blasting music, yelling being loud. ALL NIGHT they blasted music until 7am. All night my friends and I were unable to sleep due to the noise. I went to the front desk, and they said they check out tomorrow. Meaning they excepted me to have another sleepless night and pay over $200 night? Reminder its 7am and I'm on "vacation". Apparently the manager is at the bank and will be back at 9:00 am. Our plans of going to the national park were cancelled due to waiting for the manager and not sleeping all night. Its 9 and now they dont know if the manager coming in. At this point they are playing games, im sure the manager was on site just not wanting to speak with me. They said call expedia. I demanded a full redund the night i didnt sleep plus the two remaining nights. The hotel said that they can't release the funds until expedia does. I called Expedia and they said they same thing about the hotel. At this point they are both saying the same thing. I leave and decide to settle it when I'm back in the states. I went straight to Hotel Villas Lirio. Amazing simply amazing you won't regret booking this hotel. They did save our trip from being a disaster. Ask for Wendy she is a Saint. I will never go back to this hotel. I did speak with Expedia customer service and was able to get my money.

This place is so fun, the staff are incredible. I really advise conversing with them, they will tell you how to avoid tourist traps and find the really amazing places most people don’t see.

We were 2 couples and we had rooms next to each other. The room size and feel was excellent with enough room for luggage. The terrace was amazing. And the food and service by the staff excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only things for improvement would be softer pillows, better lighting in the room and if you added another outlet by the desk and a desk light or lamp, so you can see better when working on the computer.

Very nice hotel nestled in the jungle, which gives you the feel you are secluded. Excellent staff and very courteous, the excursions are exhilarating.

What a wonderful hotel. We loved the location, the beautiful setting, and the scrumptious food, but most of all we loved the staff; they were so warm and kind. Truly a lovely stay. Gracias!
