From the road this hotel looks like a holdover from the 30's. Your parked your car 5 steps from the door, which I truly appreciate. Inside, however, the rooms were surprisingly clean and modern with small kitchen appliances in addition to standard hotel niceties. It is located on the east side of town on US 56 and consequently it is in the quiet end of Great Bend. I loved it and will definitely stay here again when I have the opportunity.

The bed was super comfortable. The room had a decent sized fridge with a real freezer, not one of those little freezer compartments. The staff was very friendly. This is an older motel but it's clean and comfortable - definitely the best place to stay in Great Bend for this price point.

Staf was very helpfull. On Expedia you could not see that the office close at 23PM. I was there around 23.30 pm was closed. Luckely the owner arrived and checked us in! Rooms are very clean. Only thing i missed was a breakfast.

The room was clean and surprisingly spacious. The kitchenette as a nice surprise, though I really didn't need it for my quick one-night stay. Check-in was efficient and the staff was super friendly. My wife appreciated that the hotel was one-floor (no hauling suitcases up flights of stairs). One minor downside was location--it is on the east edge of town, away from all the restaurants.

Check in was very easy. The room was very comfortable and spacious. It was like sleeping in a studio apartment. Bed was great and I slept very well. Best room in the $50 range I have had in a long time.
