    Great stay

Great place all the staff friendly ! It’s not luxury but an excellent hotel in a great location, We had cycled from Bristol and they couldn’t have done more for us so helpful and welcoming !

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We were lucky to have used the pool and jacuzzi all by ourselves for 30 minutes before other guests have arrived to use the facilities as well. It will be better if the pool area is bigger because I don't think it can manage all the guests that will want to use the pool at the same time. We loved the classic triple room and was surprised that there is a single and a double room inside. They let us leave our bags in the storage after check out and we just came back to get them. The breakfast is typical English. Although the hotel looks old, we had a wonderful overnight stay. Thank you Trouville Hotel.

    My break

Nice and friendly service from reception and clear on room cleaning and breakfast arrangements. Seaview great , fairly quiet hotel. Bar good, room a bit dated and needs a update, bed was comfy . My only complaint is the shower useless if you have thick long hair like my daughter's is

Very dated hotel, only one plug socket in the room not next to the bed which made charging phones difficult. Looks like the rooms need an update, windows dirty, bathrooms have cracks and disappointing showers over bath. Pillows very uncomfortable too wish I’d taken my own. Expensive for what you get. Plus side is it’s location to town and beach.

    Weekend bank holiday stay

I understand that the hotel is old and has been around for a long time. Dont expect a modern desogn and trend as they have kept the same design of the room. We got a big room on 1st floor but noticed that design is dated as well as the room smells "old" but it is maintained and really clean. There were some things missing like phone and fan for our room though. Breakfast was good. Access to beach is good though it is an uphill walk but nonetheless still accessible. Staff were really helpful though. Pool and jacuzzi is clean but not sure how often do they change the water. Just need timing for swimming as there were a lot of guests when we stayed. If you need just a room/ base hotel to explore bournemouth this is a good hotel to stay.

    Zero value for money!

I booked a double room to ensure i had the shower/bath combination but all i got was a shower. Also for £220 I didnt expect to be shoved in the corner of the hotel. I was also incredibly shocked to find out that you don't provide iron and ironing boards for guests, instead we were directed to a small room on the first floor which had a biard and iron in. What would have happenes of several people wanted to use it? There was alao a much more serious incident with a member of the night staff. We are sending a separate email to the manager regarding that. All in all, a dreadfull stay, horrible room, and definitely not value for money. I will never stay again and will not be recommending.

    Short break

The hotel was comfortable. My room was of reasonable size: the bed was comfortable and the shower room facilities were good, although there was a slight fault with the shower door. Overall the room was rather dark, but as I was there mainly at night it did not worry me . There was a fair choice of food for breakfast, and it was well prepared and served. Over-zealous staff cleared my place prematurely when I left it to get other food. The hotel does need sprucing up somewhat, but this did not detract from the excellent service or my overall comfort. It was very good value for money.

    OK…

Very over priced >£150/night due to time of year. Desperate need of an upgrade but the staff were very helpful, happy and super efficient

A picture tells 1,000 tales. And these are all lies!!!! Do not waste your money staying at this tired, rundown, dirty hotel. Booking through here means £12 carparking despite their website saying it’s free. Rooms are thick with dust and FILTHY. Corridors musty smelling, room 198 had had 3 extension leads from the wall to the kettle… safety at its finest. Definitely not worth the £159 that was charged. Bed linen dirty, beds uncomfortable. And as for the chair in the room. It’s seen better days and is nearly threadbare!!!!
