Not location friendly if staying for several days getting in and out of the area is a very big problem from the highway.you must travel many miles to get back to the hotel once you leave it and.the good access road from the local streets wont allow you to get back to the hotel either. As a overseas visitor you would find it most difficult. If you require a decent meal you must also exit the area as the road house is fast food only and not very appertising

We booked a room at this hotel because its website claimed it is "near Southampton Docks" and we were to board a cruise ship the next day. In fact, our taxi driver didn't even drive us all of the way to the hotel, but took us to a road across the parking lot but not accessible via the parking lot. Then we walked quite a distance in the dark and rain to the lobby. We were told that saved us considerably on the taxi fare (from the Coach depot) compared with entering via the motorway but it still cost GBP14.50. Once there, the room was fine but we were looking forward to catching up on our emails and doing some travel-related research on the internet, and that turned out to be impossible due to the unreliability of the signal.

It was a nice enough hotel for a three star, and for the purpose of travellers for a night or so. Not very close to town, but if you have a car it is OK.

Stopped off here on our trip round the UK. Easy to find and heaps of parking. Room was of good size, plenty of room for two people. Beds comfy and linen clean. Plenty of tea and coffee. Bathroom decent size with good pressure in shower and water hot. Despite being just off the main road even with the window open traffics noise was not a problem. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

was difficult to find, we drove past it on the expressway and took many wrong turns trying to get back to it again.

Have not slept is such an uncomfortable bed for a long time. It was so poorly sprung that we rolled into the middle and every movement woke the other up. We stayed there for convenience. Wifi was great and the staff were friendly. Shower was more like standing under a hose than a proper shower. I inadvertently booked a twin room and the reception changed it to a double for us, wish we hadn't might have had a better night! At £50 it was very poor value, at their offer price of £25 it would be a better deal but not great.

We like the location, very handy for motorway. However room is shabby and our room had the toilet seat hanging off by a hinge so every time we had to use it, we had to adjust it by swinging it around. Not ideal! Also cleaner put our fresh towels on the toilet seat in front of us, and wiped our bath with the used bath mat that had been on the floor. Cleaner did not seem to understand why this is unacceptable (hygiene reasons), but I did insist on fresh towels that had not been on the toilet.

Good for a bed in transit. Ticked the boxes except a fridge in the room but the staff kindly allowed us to keep our cold things in their fridge. Bed was comfy.
