Quiet loction, lovely gardens and authentic decor
Really loved this place. Great contrast to hustle and bustle of the city. Staff is very helpful. what strikes you most is the serenity of the place. If you are in Amritsar, you must make this your home for few days. I am from Delhi and my guest was from Lahore. She even thought it would be worthwhile to cross border and come here just to spend some nights here in peace. It felt like home to her and she came from big landlord family of Pakistan and used to such luxuries.

A small gem
Not only does this place have character, it has AC and hot water in abundance. Security and seclusion were excellent. Shopping within a block, and a reasonable cab ride to the Golden Temple. The hotel arranged for a competent driver/guide. We are not foodies, so will leave a review of the small hotel restaurant to others. The steps up to the private bathroom were strange, no doubt a result of remodelling an historic structure. - Dave & Mo

Enestaaende, hvis du er til den slags
Et hjem, lavet om til hotel. Hvis du kan lide det exentriske kan dette vaere lige noget for dig. Middag i spisestuen og gamle slidte moebler overalt. Smaa terasser og haver spredt over hele hotellet. Oppe og nede. Kaempestore vaerelser og tilsvarende badevaerelser. En tussegammel kvinde med sine lige saa gamle hunde. Alt i alt en saerlig oplevelse, som vi noed.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Svaasa war eine Freude!Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeber, eine wunderbare qualitativ hohe Küche und eine rundum angenehme Atmosphäre. Das traditionsreiche Haus voller Geschichte ist eine Ruheosase im geschäftigen Amritsar.Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut per Auto oder Rikshaw zu erreichen. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Oase der Ruhe mit viel Charme
Am Abschluss meiner diesjähriger Indienreise war ich für 2 Nächte im Ranjits Svaasa in Amritsar. Ich hatte die zwei besten Nächte in den wunderbaren Betten und kann das Hotel wirklich jedem Reisenden nach Amiritsar empfehlen. Auch das Nachtessen im Hotel schmeckte mir sehr gut. Es herrscht eine sehr persönliche angenehme Atmosphäre, da die Besitzerfamilie auch im gleichen Haus wohnt.
