Suited our needs
The hotel is well located for access to train & bus transport, including the ski train to the Zugspitz. Rooms are small but adequate. Staff are nice but not very knowledgeable on tourist needs (you are better getting help from the tourist information ofice in the town centre). English is not spoken by several of the reception and breakfast staff, so the ability to speak German if staying is valuable. In general the area is frequented by German tourists, not internationals. There was a contradiction with the account but when we produced our pricing confirmation, they did honour it. The restaurant is good, but run seperately to the hotel, so you could not put it on your room account.

Good place to stay
It was good. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast being included was very good.

Excellent Location
This hotel offers the ideal location as it's only a minutes walk from the main station. This gives you easy walking distance to both sides of the town what I'd call Garmisch the New Town and Partenkirchen the old town. The train to take you to the ski slopes is just the other side of the main station, so again ideal for the skiers. It also has a ski and boot room available inside the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety and most emportantly the staff are excellent. Highly recommend this hotel and will definiately be returning

Old hotel, good location, good service, the beds were noisy with old and bad pillows

Convenient location
It was fine, with good beds, good food in the restaurant, friendly employees. Being right next to a strip bar and American-style fast food restaurants meant lots of partying late into the night. It was also very convenient to the train station, so if you can sleep with earplugs in, I would recommend it!
