SureStay Hotel by Best Western Tupelo North

One room had roaches. The other was clean. The area was in a rougher part of town and there were police and suspicious people everywhere.

Dirty and smelled Bad

It was horrible and unclean we tried 7 different rooms and all was dirty!! And the took all of my hotel points I earned and I want them back

It was good except the 3 pm check in lol

I arrived at the hotel Friday evening to spilt the drive back up, just needed somewhere to sleep. My girlfriend and I instantly felt uncomfortable due to the location and loitering of shady people at the hotel. The first room I was given smelled like smoke and the detecter was going off, I went back to get another one and the door wouldn’t latch all the way there. Also other stayers were smoking everywhere and staring at us as we arrived. Very bad experience. We left our keys and stayed elsewhere. Thought it was funny how I had to sign a no smoking agreement but both of my rooms smelt like smoke, which would’ve caused me to have an asthma attack if I had chosen to stay the night. Also saw several people smoking outside the rooms. Terrible environment, I didn’t not feel comfortable here and will never book a hotel sight unseen again.

Don't do it. Checked in about 3:00 AM, 2 men wandering around the parking lot and wanted money, later knocked on our door & asked if we could come out side and talk with them, of course we didn't. Afraid to go to sleep and about 4:30 AM a couple of "ladies" of the night were walking around the parking lot. Did not feel safe. Bed was comfortable and that's about all I can say good. TV didn't work, room smelled terrible, bathroom fan was so loud it would wake the dead, toilet seat was broken, water would not drain out of the tub so after one showered you had to wait 20 min. for the water to drain out before using it again. Clerk in the office was almost rude, not very welcoming at all. Overall bad decision on our part in choosing this hotel. Don't make the same mistake we did. Avoid at all costs.

They were so friendly rooms very clean I would definitely stay there again and recommend them to everyone

All I can say is please don't stay here. Literally I've stayed in hundreds hotels and this one was by far the worst. Used the washer which worked fine and then put money in thw dryer and it doesn't work. Told the lady at the front desk and she just said she can't do anything. Refused to dry the clothes for me, give me my money back, etc. They could at least have a not working sign on it. The WIFI didn't work or my TV remote in the room which I also complained about only for them to tell me they would send someone by and did but they didn't fix anything. Lastly, this hotel is in a sketchy part of town and people were up all night outside being loud. I didn't even feel safe and then in the morning the front desk called me 3 times to ask if I was checking out. What makes it worse is they called at 7am, then 8am, and again at 9am. Same lady every time despite the fact that housekeeping came by and asked to.

Door wouldn't unlock and after several attemps, manager had to use key. TV wouldn't work. The room smelled of smoke and bathroom was very muskie. Very disappointed in stay

Denise in the office was terrific! The pool was closed due to COVID-19. There were many conveniences nearby that made the stay easy. Just a quick overnight was fine, longer not acceptable. The room #115; a/c rattled - no matter what temp or strength it rattled when on. The toilet tissue holder is in an inconvenient location behind the seat on the right side. Since it was a handicapped room I appreciated the shower head being removable.
