Better than expected for a 3 star hotel
I stayed in the Ibis Paris for 5 nights overall, two of the final nights was unexpected as our flight was cancelled due to air strikes. our first room was good it was a standard room but I thought it was a comfortable size with a good size bed. The only disappointment was the bathroom as it was a wet room and once I had a shower the water ran through the door onto the carpet which then made the room smell. For our last two unexpected nights, We managed to get a room at the same hotel which was a bonus when we found out our flight was cancelled and our new room was on the top floor. The room was smaller but had an actual shower and the view was incredible (photos don’t do it justice) as you could see the church which I believe was the Basilique du Sacré-Cœu. Overall, the rooms where stylish and modern apart from the wet room wasn’t designed well to keep water in. The hotel staff was lovely and was always ready to help if you needed ask something (travel adapters) or recommendations. Breakfast was average abit pricey for what they had to offer but it is paris so it was expected and it was in a good location next to many different metros such as Louis blanc and chateau Landon.

This property is walking distance to the Gare du Nord station which makes it convenient to navigate Paris. The hotel is small with small rooms-almost no space to open your luggage except on the bed. They provide 2 threadbare bath towels per room-no other size towels. There is no fridge or complimentary coffee or tea that is almost always a standard in any hotel. Check-in time is 12 noon, and we arrived at around 11 but were unable to check in because the rooms were not ready. We asked if we can leave our luggage so we can have lunch then come back. The lockers cost 5 euros for 4 carry-ons. After lunch, we came back hoping that the rooms would be ready. It was almost 1pm by then. We were made to wait as the rooms were still in the process of being cleaned. Finally, we were given the key cards to our rooms, so we went up only to find the cleaning lady still vacuuming the rooms. The overall appearance of the hotel is unappealing with the pipes and tubes exposed. If they were going for an industrial look, they failed. There are two small elevators that need a thorough cleaning. One more thing- they provide an all in one body wash, shampoo, conditioner. I think that's what it was. I am glad we only stayed 2 nights.

Poor 2.0
We had a horrible check in experience. We booked 2 rooms next to each other for me, my wife and 2 kids and was paid full in advance. The front disk staff first denied having reservation of 2 rooms and when I showed them the confirmation denied having 2 rooms available and blamed the daytime front disk staff for this reservation. After spending more than 45 minutes and we were tired I requested any solution and end up to split the family between the first and 6th floor rooms. The problem was solved next morning by giving us 2 rooms in the 6th floor. When we stepped inside the room we found it dirty and was not cleaned from the previous guest. We had to call several times to get the room cleaned. It was a horrible experience.

Poor 2.0
Good location, staff and hotel worst.
The staff at check in was rude. Rooms were stinking. Fresh towels placed by house keeping were also stinking. Carpet on floors appeared to have stains. We went there in month of March. Weather can go warmer or colder. But hotel will not allow air conditioner during winter months. it was very hard to sleep in the room at it was very hot. If window is opened, there is a lot of noise from vehicles passing by. Almost all the hotels in Europe would hold your luggage for a day without any charge. They would keep your luggage from morning to evening. But to my surprise, this location has lockers where you have pay to leave luggage. Why would I put it in hotel if I have pay? I rather paid at the train station and kept the luggage there. I would not recommend this hotel.

The property is located in an area that is apparently not safe. the Hotel main lobby doors are closed and you need to buzz the desk to be allowed in. The rooms are tiny with no area to place your luggage and even less to remove your clothes from the luggage. The bathroom is also tine and the toilet is so close to the wall that anyone taller than 5'6" will have trouble sitting. The shower water backs up as you are bathing and fills up. The shower jell/soap does not smell good or lathers. The name should reflect what it truly is a, "MOTEL" not Hotel. We asked for extra pillows and only received one. Overall, I would not recommend staying at this MOTEL, there were other IBIS that looked better but I did not enter. If you go to Paris, save your money and stay at a $400 plus Hotel or don't go!
