Arrived at the property to discover the front area was overgrown and strewn with rubbish. Entered the apartment to find it had not been cleaned after previous guests. Dirty towels piled on floor, rubbish in bins, outside in hallway. Open food left in fridge. Dirty bedding on beds. Food on work surfaces and floor. Shower
curtain rail bent. Bathroom blinds damaged and stuck in window. Pictures taken and shared with host immediately, they advised their cleaners and booking system had been at fault and as they could not rectify this we would get a full refund. I have that in writing, and verbally from the host and Expedia but as yet no confirmation of refund from Expedia. Had to find alternative accommodation for 5 people at an additional cost.
