BUYER BEWARE. I prepaid, in full, for my stay. Upon entering the room, I noticed a strong sewage smell coming out of the bathroom. It was unbearable. I asked for another room, and the receptionist told me there were no other rooms available. I asked them to take a look. Upon entering the room, they smelled it straight away, apologized, then turned on the sink, shower, and bidet, and asked me to leave the water running for 15 minutes. I opened the windows and waited. It was so bad, I had to leave.
I asked the receptionist for a refund, and they advised me to connect with Expedia and Aiello hotels directly. I have been emailing and calling for 2 weeks and have been unsuccessful. In fact, hotel management is denying responsibility, saying their team found no issues with cleanliness or maintenance, and that they "made every effort to ensure my comfort by offering a complimentary upgrade, which I declined." This is simply untrue.
I recommend reading other reviews about this hotel group before booking. I wish I had.
