Fantastic location
Fantastic, prime position in the CBD & walking distance to many attractions. Very friendly & helpful staff. Room smallish but clean, comfortable & quiet. No guest lift, except for luggage lift & very limited free parking available but overall great value for money.

Historical gem
Excellent convenient location with lovely view of the church and other old buildings. Big room with some off road free parking. On Saturday night you can hear night club. Otherwise a good stay for other nights.

One night stay. Very comfortable. Heaps of room in the room, clean. Close to CBD. Although upstairs there was a dumb waiter lift to put luggage in which meant not carrying luggage up stairs. Limited parking. Very comfortable stay.

Exceptional 10.0
Great location, awesome bay windows with excellent views of the city. The window isnt double glass so outside noise is very loud- construction at early hours of the morning & the church bells ringing every ?hour- this is no fault of the hotel though. Very appealing old style hotel. The bed was worn and slightly uncomfortable. Overall great stay.

Love this place!
Friendly and helpful staff and a comfortable, spacious room. Nice historical markers in the lobby. Very walkable to great dining. Highly recommend!

c gem
The hotel is a real old world gem. Positioned right in the middle of historic Launceston within easy distance to the wonderful attractions of this beautiful city and surrounds. A magnificently architectured building in spotless condition that oozes history and comfort. The friendly staff are very helpful to ensure that your stay is enjoyable and are knowledgeable regarding activities available in the surrounding areas. Access to a clean and well appointed quest kitchen is an added bonus for a hotel of this quality.

Nice family stay
This hotel is very well priced for its location. At the heart of the city with City Park, shopping and dining all within a short walk. The cafe next door is delicious, the breakfasts were plentiful and good. A couple of things that people need to be aware of, there is only stairs (important if you require lifts) and the rooms aren’t serviced daily. This wasn’t an issue for us, but may be for some. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Clean & Central
Small room but was all I needed. Clean and central.

Good 6.0
Clean but a disappointment overall
Such a beautiful old building with so much charm and not one lift for the folks to use. There were two of us but only one chair, no face towels and while the hotel boast of daily housekeeping is not automatic - you must request it by 7 PM the night before so I am not sure when I would get my sugar, coffee etc if I am up at 6 AM. The bed was of poor quality and lumpy. Hate to even say but the shower floor was metal so if you use shampoo and coonditioner be careful you do not slip (room #17) not sure about the others.
