Nice modern hotel, great location
Great location near L’Arc de Triomphe, and a nice little hotel. We had a superior twin room on the 3rd floor with a view of a wall opposite (if you lean out the window and look down there’s a little courtyard. Room was small, but probably bigger than most French hotel rooms! Lovely big modern bathroom with a great walk-in shower. The bar is the same space as for breakfast. We did like this hotel a lot for the friendliness of the staff, the location, the room (nicely decorated and enough storage space for 2. The only issue we had was that the only English channel we could get on the tv was CNN or BBC News. This won’t be an issue for most people as who comes to Paris to watch tv! But I was with my elderly mother who has hearing and sight loss, and prefers not to eat in the evenings because of digestive problems (so no shows or fancy meals for us), so I had purposely looked for a hotel with satellite channels so we could hopefully at least watch something in the evenings. The tv was a smart tv, but nothing worked - despite good wi-fi? No option to log into Netflix, or any other entertainment sites. I did mention this to the front desk and they said someone would come the next day to look at the tv, but nobody came. The owner did very kindly give us a half bottle of champagne to apologise which was lovely, but 4 nights of watching repeated news stories over again was not fun (my mum can’t even manage to read a book even now).
