Quirky hotel, friendly staff. Close to everything. Very low lighting inside

Modern and Well Situated
I got a great deal at this hotel and it was such a treat. Very modern and cool, even got a free glass of port. I was sort of surprised this place felt so empty. It’s really well situated and a beautiful hotel. It’s a tad dark (they have this whole theater theme but it’s not too kitschy) and some light might have been nice. But really a great experience. I’m sure I’ll be discovered. You can walk there from Sao Bento and to the riverfront, which for me was a huge plus. I went in January, so perhaps that was the reason it was slow.

Hotel very centrally located, some of the staff very friendly while others have an attitude especially the man at the bar. Hotel could be much better though. Rooms are clean at first sight but if you do a thorough check you find lots of dust and the carpet is not well cleaned at all (lots of hair stuck in it)

This is our second time we stayed at this hotel. The last stay was 4 years ago. The hotel have make the over atmosphere a lot brighter. I guess they have read the comments by their guests. Valet parking is a must if you are driving because it is impossible to find parking close by and traffic is very bad outside the hotel. Parking cost is very reasonable at 16 euros. Great stay overall.

Stay and experience!
It’s a wonderful trip back to the times ofthe Theater, everything including the staff. The decore enhansed the concept and experience to perfection. Besides it being completely quiet compared to the noisy, vibrant center of Porto, the breakfast was excellent and a good night sleep to explore the City for the three days we spent there Clean, Well furnished, atentive Staff, all the amenities. Very recomendable stay and experience.
