Happy Residents
Arrived early to be greeted by friendly staff. Was told room was ready. First impressions was very good. It was clear to see that the room had been refurbished. It was very clean and had a fresh smell. My wife is a senior housekeeper for a 4 star hotel. For the first time ever she was impressed. On the downside the window in the room had privacy glass and although it let in plenty of light you couldn’t see out. The bed looked new but for me it was a bit to low, but for younger it would be perfect. Would I stay here again or recommend the hotel to friends the answer would have to be YES! Thank you for making our stay such a pleasant one

Festival Stay
Looks can be deceiving. Outside could do with s lick of paint. But my room was great. Modern Very comfy. Very clean. Bed was super comfy. I was in room 1. Only down side was, the room was right next door to the main entrance. So had all the noise from people coming and in and out. Other than that. My stay was great.

Amazing little gem
Amazing little hotel, staff ate lovely. Fantastic location. Reason for some lower selections was that when i booked i chose the wrong room for us. Not the hotels fault. Thank you all for a lovely stay.

Great location, nice hotel at a bargain price
Reading previous reviews did leave us with some concerns but we cannot fault our stay at the hotel. Okay, it is not the lap of luxury but for the price we paid it was perfectly fine and we had a great little break away. Staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable and the location on the promenade was perfect. There has obviously been a bit of money spent on the hotel, with new carpets in our room, together with the new bathroom upgrades. Can't fault our stay and would certainly use again if visiting lovely Southport

great location and price but some issues
Brilliant location on prom opposite pier and good price for my 'single' room which in fact had a very comfortable double bed. Reception closes early evening so there was an issue with a visitor wanting to leave a gift with only access through a locked door. Main issue was the shower - plenty of hot water but no drainage - the mop and bucket should have been the clue - so the floor was flooded. Management response was that it was a non slip floor but still a slip hazard for an elderly lady. Plenty of towels provided - luckily- but coffee cups not replaced or bed made - a Covid issue apparently. Breakfast (extra) looked good with various options but did not partake. An enjoyable stay but would only stay again in one of the non-partitioned rooms with a proper bathroom.
